Rodney Grimes is SGS’s Senior Battery Engineer, who has 17 years of industry experience. Over the past five years with SGS, Rodney has been responsible for overseeing battery and safety certification testing to a variety of standards, performing custom battery and cell level performance and safety testing and hosting trainings in China and Taiwan for battery testing associates.

Mr. Grimes is currently the co-chair of the CTIA 1626/1725 battery working group and was recently published in Quality Magazine sharing about safety for batteries in small medical devices.
