Pelagio Payumo is the Product Safety and Compliance Manager at Oculus VR, LLC.  His over 18 years of experience in Product and System Safety span both the Military Vehicle Systems (the Bradley Fighting Vehicles of the U.S. Army) as well as the Information Technology products from Apple, and now with Oculus.  His area of focus and experience covers the entire lifecycle of the products—from a product concept’s FMEA, hazard analyses, and Warnings development, to retail safety, field escalation investigation, and end-of-life.  Pelagio led the Safety and Compliance efforts of the successful launch of the first Virtual Reality product in the market, the Oculus Rift and Touch controllers.
