Patricia M. Hanz is the General Counsel of the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.  Ms. Hanz joined the CPSC in 2017.  Prior to joining the CPSC Ms. Hanz was the Deputy General Counsel of Briggs & Stratton Corporation and prior to that, a Staff Attorney at the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.  Ms. Hanz received her B.A. from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, her J.D. from the University of Wisconsin and her MBA from Northwestern University – Kellogg School of Management.
