Glenn Dunap joined the CPSC in 2002. In the 1970’s Glenn earned a B.S. in Geology at the University of Texas. He graduated during the oil depression of the 1980’s and was only able to work a short time in the oil industry. Glenn then earned his real estate license and worked in commercial sales and leasing and as an apartment management for six years. Glenn’s unconventional career path next led him to work for the Texas Department of Health, where he traveled extensively for the next nine years conducting FHSA labeling inspections and bedding inspections. He then moved to Miami, FL to work with the CPSC. Glenn’s mother was Peruvian and he has a working understanding of Spanish. In his off time he renovates homes and owns several rental properties. He also enjoys flying remote control airplanes and helicopters. He founded an electric only flying field in Miami and still enjoys the hobby every weekend in Orlando, FL.
