For the past eight years, Chad Budreau has worked with the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) to help shape the future of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) and to promote safety. The AMA is the world's largest aeromodelling community-based organization representing 200,000 members, 2,400 flying sites, and 2,500 events across the country. Chad engages with levels of government to address UAS integration and regularly collaborates with the FAA Office of UAS Integration, Congress, UAS manufacturers, and industry leaders. Chad currently sits on FAA’s Drone Advisory Committee, the Steering Committee for the Unmanned Aircraft Safety Team, and FAA’s Aviation Rule Making Committee on Remote ID and Tracking. Chad’s academic background includes a B.A. and M.A. in regulatory/political science and communication management.
